What a beautiful tribute to your guide. My dog is eight and a half now, and I am planning to retire her in the summer of 2008, when she will be a bit over ten years old. (I have to get a new dog in the summer because of school.) I could identify with a lot of what you said. I am planning to keep my girl, but it is hard when I think about how our relationship will change. I am glad your two pups are getting along well.
